Ritual Bathing

Okay, so there's really not much in the way of rituals like bathing during the moon phases or whatever. But baths are great for contemplating, relaxing and rejuvinating. At least they are for me. And yes, baths are very bad for the skin cause the hot water soak is very very drying. But I don't care. I need my ritual bath to be a decent human.

Creative Visualization Bath

Turn off lights
1 Candle burning
1 Magazine with Beautiful Pictures. (Vogue, Glamour and Cosmo are NOT the magazines you should be looking at as they could invoke feelings of inadequacy, and I know I'm not alone on that thought process)
1 cup epsom salt
1 cup Baking Soda
Light floral scent like Jasmine
Make sure to moisturize upon leaving bath.

Change My Bad Attitude Bath

1 cup epsom salt
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid (adds a little fizzy action)
2 drops lavendar oil
Burn some sandlewood incense
Close eyes and soak for as long as possible. Breath deeply and try not to think of anything. If you do think of something, make sure it's good thoughts. Make sure to moisturize upon leaving bath. Also good to have some music goin' on.
